When someone expresses skepticism about global warming, it’s natural to bombard that person with factual information about the issue. But recent social science, says Texas Tech climate scientist Katharine Hayhoe, suggests that’s the wrong approach. She explains why that is, and how communicators can make a more persuasive case, in the newest addition to her “Global Weirding” series.
Hayhoe’s “Global Weirding” series is produced by KTTZ Texas Tech Public Media and distributed by PBS Digital Studios. She expects to air new episodes on YouTube every other Wednesday.
